Michelle Siev, MA, LPC, NCC, MITS, provides Clinical Supervision for LLPCs working toward the 3,000 hours of counseling experience, required by the state of Michigan. Michelle is a Mentoring Institute Trained Supervisor (MITS) which meets the supervisor training requirements for the Michigan Board of Counseling.
As a former high school English teacher and an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor, Michelle strives to embody genuineness, self-reflection, flexibility, openness to various styles of learning, encouragement of autonomy, trustworthiness, sensitivity, and collaboration which are all important and necessary qualities of an effective supervisor.
Michelle understands the daunting challenge and important responsibility of becoming a fully licensed professional and therefore works diligently to help the new counselor feel prepared and supported through the sometimes overwhelming process.
